Chuck Norris facts

Hi, welcome to view my second post. Before the start, I have to say that it’s much harder than I thought to write a post about something you used to read just for fun. However, I’d be happy as long as you enjoy the post!

So…, who is Chuck Norris?

“Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris (born March 10, 1940) is an American martial artist, actor, film producer and screenwriter. After serving in the United States Air Force, he began his rise to fame as a martial artist, and has since founded his own school, Chun Kuk Do.” [2]

As you can see above, Chuck Norris seems to be a “normal” martial artist. Isn’t he normal? Well, at least not on the Internet!

Songs of a legend

Nobody knows when and how it began, but some jokes* started to float around. Here is a example below:

“Chuck Norris died 20 years ago, Death just hasn’t built up the courage to tell him yet.”[3]

There’re some scientific ones:

“Chuck Norris has already been to Mars; that’s why there are no signs of life.”
“Chuck Norris counted to infinity - twice.”
“There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of animals Chuck Norris allows to live.”
Sure there “was” something trying to attack Chuck Norris:
“Chuck Norris once got bit by a rattle snake....... After three days of pain and agony………… the rattle snake died.”[3]

Because the story above are all true (he is Chuck Norris!), people then call them “Chuck Norris Facts”.

Other legends…

Not only does Chuck Norris have songs describing the legend. There’re also Suzuki Ichiro (鈴木一朗) facts and Bruce Lee （李小龍） facts. Don’t forget that as long as you are interested, the Internet always have something funny for you!
